TRD- you should definitely come to the race, even if your car is not 100% setup someone will help you get it going. Some of the locals, like Scott Fisher, should have some good setup info on your car.

A few guys have asked me about Byron Fuel and Byron contingency. There will be Byron fuel available for sale at the track and the Byron contingency is still in effect.

Russ... I am leaving home about 7:00AM Thursday morning and should be at the track between 1:30 and 2:00PM. Hope to get in significant practice.

Are you going to be dug out (big storm I hear) by then?

See you there.

Hey zootcapri,

figured out what was going on on that axial motor? or you just dropping in a another motor?, I got my car all put back together with new chassis and parts that I had to replace the bent back into shape parts I did just to make/finish the race last time out, remember? coming off the sweeper rubbing the inside pipe to the back straight and the pipe was not secured or moved in and I nailed it and tore my car up, hope that pipe will be secured if the same layout is used or mental note for me to not go tight on that pipe, the porkchop layout is cool, either way it's gonna be a fun race and that's what I'm about, time off work, chillen, racing and wrenching. See you next week

Billy

I hope I have it figured out. I put in a one piece engine mount and adjusted the fit of the gears... the mesh was fine but I think that the engine slipped forward when I tapped a wall and the clutch/gears rubbed... causing excessive friction and heated the engine. New sleeve and piston is being broken in now.. We'll see.

I have heard that between 2 more and 4 more people coming down... most for the GT class. Gus, Matt and I will also run 1/10th.
