For those who might find it interesting - 11 of the 12 drivers in the A-main at the recent ROAR Nationals in Toledo used the PROTOform P909 racebody.

Many thanks to all who chose PROTOform!

I can't see the font, needs to be bigger... something about a hamburger and a Xbox 360?

J/k That is great to hear. I will be running one on the Motonica P81.

Default P909 EFRA number

Could anyone tell me if the all P909 bodies are stamped with the EFRA homologation number please?

E.g. Part number PRM1504-30 at A-Main Hobbies.

Thank you,

Kronos.

Kronos:
Every P909 produced by Protoform has had the EFRA number molded into it - for over a year now. There's a slim chance that some very "old stock" bodies may have been stored at some hobby distributor or hobby shop - but like I said - the odds are slim and getting slimmer with time.

Hi guys

I want to mount a 909 to my Serpent 960. What distance from the front bumper should I mount it for good handling?

Many thanks.

When is the new version of the P909 available in stores??
Will it have the same EFRA number as the old one or a new one?
When it is in stores, will all of the bodies have the EFRA number from the beginning or how???

MRX4XXXX:

The slightly revised Protoform P909 has been in production since mid Nov. 2010. It still has the original part #1504 marked on the mold. The body was re-submitted to EFRA and they did not require a new EFRA number to be put in the mold because the changes were so minor.
There's a strong possibility that the distributor/dealer network has the un-revised bodies in stock - and will for a period of time. The best way to ID the revised body is the small center fin at the rear spoiler.

*Note: the unrevised body is ROAR/BRCA/FEMCA/FAMAR etc. legal and will work equally well in Non-EFRA sanctioned racing. The changes were made because of a minor 2011 rule change in side dam height required by EFRA (IFMAR).

10 -11 mm in front of the bumper.
