Red shoe is softer than the original yellow shoe, this new version provides a wider sweet spot for correct clutch adjustment yet still provides the highest performance expected, it slips more on initial engagement thus allowing the engine to rev higher, giving more bottom end punch.
Hope this helps.

The red shoe is a little harder. The "K" team is accurate about the performance. The red shoe last longer.

Just looked it up and the pinks are one step harder than the reds. The new kit does not come with the brackets for the older silver box and it does not come with the set up booklet anymore. But the extras it does have are well worth it.

Why is there no info of the 720/09 car on the serpent site?

Does anyone know when the upgrade kit will be available?

Big Orange towel is only for US market, for a limited time only

The brackets are not included anymore cause the old box is out of production for some time already. Also nowadays, people use any type of starter box and there are many out there to choose

No upgrade kit is going to be available, since it's basically the same car with most of the optional parts included. Already the plastics in stock at our warehouse as well as the CVD are the new version with harder material. Some of our drivers test the plastic at Ft. Myers, and the car stay in 1 piece after some pretty hard crashes

this 720'09 you guys are talk about, is this the new 200mm car serpent is said to be releasing, from what ive heard, the car will be completely new, not a revised version of the 720'08? does anyone have any pictures of the 720'09?

The 09' 720 is just an evolution of the 08' kit it has many of the optional parts as stock now such as the LCG chassis with the brass plate at the front, alloy X plate or radio tray mount, 2 sets of steering blocks, LCG motor mount and the 31mm flywheel, new CVD's, new plastics. The next car hasn't been named or shown yet and maynot be available until late 2009 early 2010 that car will be a new platform, hope this answers your questions.
