best 26mm tires for grip on asphault
I need suggestions on the best tires that have the most grip that will work good in a parking lot.
I use nitro shoes for parking lot racing the shore you will have to make your own judgment, i will start with 40 upfront and 38 in the rear.
the parking lot I run on is kinda rough and dirty, I was told that foams would just chunk up on a rough or dirty surface. is that true?
they can chunk you could try a set and glue the edge to make it a little stronger. if you only bash use rubber tires
what are the best rubber tires to use?
if i was a basher,the cheapest one's i could find
would a rubber racing slick work?

We have been racing with them for the past 5 years in our Only Rubber class with excelent results, even with today high power engines...we've tried every single brand in the market, and nothing works well with nitro cars as PMT tyres, we race 1 hour mains and they hold their grip, in dusty parking lots and on preped surfaces. I don't know who imports PMT in the states, but you should give them a try, you won't regret it. AFM |

The best Rubber Tires for racing and or bashing 1/10th 20mm cars are PMT Tyres from Italy, they come premounted on rims, they are low profile, comes in 4 different shore hardness, and they have treaded and slick patterns.

I got them from the guy that handles the parking lot racing, to be honest i dont know what shore or anything but they felt really soft maybe thats why they didnt last and also affected the grip.
For on-road racing use with 200mm nitro cars, the Corsa, Force & PRO tires with firm inserts work much better for you. Shore ratings should be selected by surface conditions, temps, chassis weight, race length & driving style. Corsa Width 30 (mm) Diameter ext 67(mm) Profile 9(mm) Scale 1/10 Force Width 26 (mm) Diameter ext 67(mm) Profile 9(mm) Scale 1/10 Pró Width 25 (mm) Diameter ext 64 (mm) Profile 6(mm) Scale 1/10 Right now there are only 2 dealers in North America selling these 1/10 scale rubber slicks. Without knowing the dealer you got your tires from, there's no way to make it right.:) http://sintecrc.com/imagens/wafter-test-pq.jpg Contact [email protected] |
