I go to their website every so often to check if they are releasing a new nitro tc-3 no word That is too bad because the car is not really that bad it just needs a few updates to really be compeitive.

I remember hearing, maybe a year ago, that they were developing a belt drive nitro car. Don't know if there was any truth to that, was just a rumor.

I got tired of waiting for Associated to come out with a new NTC-3 so I made my own with a big Block .28 and 1/8 scale tires for traction.

They should have one in 2009 summer because 2010 -- 200mm nitro World Race will be held in USA.

If Associated does make a new 1/10 scale nitro on road I kinda doubt that it will be as revolutionary as the first. The TC-3 was the first shaft driven 1/10 scale nitro onroad I ever saw with hardly any rolling resistance. It had a few minor problems which associated failed to address . I guess there next car if they make one will be belt I wish they would just fix the minor problems and beef it up a little bit more. I liked the NTC-3 because it was shaft drive and different than all the other onroads which were belt..

Assiciated hasn't announced anything and when viewing the web site, they don't even list the NTC3 anymore. I have also heard a rumor that they were building a belt driven car that was in development about a year and a half ago. nothing new has been said in so long, I would think that they might have scrapped it.

RCFoolz , Associated still list the NitroTC-3, it is listed under kits and rtr's. But it looks like associated is focusing all their efforts on the SC8 Short Course truck at the present time.
