Means nothing if you over shoot every corner in the infield. And you're right I don't have to buy and I don't. I hold my own with cheaper priced motors(Picco/Reddot). To each his own........................................

I run my "Lowly Picco Red Dot Evo3" in my 220mm against 1/8th scale cars with double the HP and find what i lose out on down the main straight, i more than make up for in the twisty bits!
BTW my picco is on par with your favorite Big $$$ motors on our large track!!
Maybe the picco that you "flew past" was still running in and rich, or the guy doesn't know how to tune it properly!!

I remember that Mega DS11 (Picco) you got from me and if memory serves me correctly you did better with it at the Winternationals than you did with the 2 modified engines that you also tried there.

HP is important but drivability is more important in my mind.

Lee you you are correct. I regretted taking the DSII out. The Murnan was more powerful but I couldn't drive it.

no it wasnt running rich but i my car was overgeared you sound like alot of people i know and i dont over shoot turns! either you want to tell your self that they are as fast to boost your ego but in fact its not for example to run a picco at 301 raceway you have to gear your car to the moon to make up for the lack of top speed that the piccos have my car i can run stock or lower gearing and my car still doesnt whine out down the back straight it just kepp pulling my mugen mtx4r has been clocked weekly at 61-64 with my murnan modified rbr3 and 62-66 with my jp eagle tl3t point blank with the same car, same gearing, same fuel the picco is not as fast. oh yea those speeds were clocked with stock gearing 59-53 and 17-23 I can go as high as 60-54 and 18-24 but it is not needed because my motors arent just low end motors they make power for lowe end all the way up to the top end. Also I had a picco evo 3 red dot it was my first motor i got rid of it because it was to slow at 301 raceway it has no top end only bottom end. my murnan modifed rb r3 has the same bottom end as the picco but it also has a third gear down the long 301 back straight like my eagle tl3t has tuff combination to beat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hint: Hint: Just because I don't like the price of a JP doesn't mean I can't buy a JP Hint:

Sounds about on par with what my Picco performs like with the same gearing!!
Keep in mind that the pipe choice is a very important consideration!!

yea i didnt think that i would have to add that in the each motor call for a different pipe and each track calls for a different manifold
