Give it time and then see

Roelof 12-12-2008 08:47 AM

"There where is smoke there is fire" we say...

RedRC has it from a newspaper....

RedRC 12-12-2008 08:48 AM

The story we are running on GRP is based on what we have read in the quoted newspaper. We are not claiming that anything written by this journalist is correct or not, simply telling people what was written. We have asked Gandini for a reply but as of yet have heard nothing confirming or denying.

I don't know about Italy but US newspapers have been known to make mistakes. Even outright fabrications. Still I suspect it is probably true.

Sean, I think it's true too. RedRC RULEZ!!!!

RedRC 12-12-2008 09:18 AM

According to GRP, it is not true. We have published their statement as promised and it seems that it was a big misunderstanding by the journalist doing the interview. It just goes to show, dont believe what you read in the newspaper kids.

Whatever happened to good journalism? I'm speaking of the Italian paper here, not redrc.

No good journalism in Italy....

For the records... "il sole 24 ore" is the italian most important newspaper in the field of economics...

AndyItalia68 12-13-2008 06:02 AM

Il Sole24ore is a professional economic newspaper....i would wait some months before judging them ;). Serpent at first replayed to the news about their problems with a "no, no probs, we are just re-organizing relocating blablabla". And watch what was the real situation...

The real situation is that Serpent did move from Holland to Asia, reorganized and is now up and running, and that is exactly what is going on.

And where in your eyes is the "real" story about bankruptcy?
If it was a healthy company then a declaration of bankruptcy was not possible....
Face it, there was a bankruptcy and there is nothing to proove otherwise.

Who cares about the BANKRUPTCY? the important thing here is that Serpent is back, and it is up and running, YOU GET IT ?
