Why do you say like this? I am accepting any ideas, but not all of them I will use. It will be very funny to use everything what will come up to people mind. I still can think and choose what is realy good for use. I agree 100% with Motorman, this ramp realy doesn't make any difference in performance (BTW we tried it in earlier 80's and found no difference). I realy don't like just copy somebody's ideas, I like to find out what benefits I can gain from any ideas, if I don't see benfits, I won't do it. I am proud to be able to think!

For what it's worth, when we broke the crank in our JP and replaced it with a modified Nova crank (no silicon), I couldn't tell the difference.

I was pondering the silicon thing at the time but wasn't game to go ahead unless I was 100% sure of the correct material and that it would stay put . . . . and I wasn't.

For the same reasons, I wouldn't be game to use "knead it" or jb weld.
I might be a bit more confident using "Devcon" but what effect might the fuel have? And none of these hard substitutes are a pretty red colour.

. . . my AU$0.02

Stop hogging that Smirnoff, you guys.

I would NOT recommend anything epoxy resin based like the JB Weld.

First, that stuff gets hard and even brittle, which does not go along well with the vibrations of a nitro engine.

Second, I used JB weld to repair and reinforce exhaust stingers and the stuff got soft quickly and lost adhesion, obviously caused by the fuel.
