I think the best for the bucks is Novarossi R1 Kangaroo WC, I have search the web and the best price I have found is $375. and this is already a plenty fast engine! Faster then most ppl can handle!

I am personally a fan of the RB motors, the C5 stock is roughly $400. Have been running a C4 stock for some time, and just recently switched over to my C3 WC97 mod motor. Not too much difference in top end speed between the two, though the C3 seems to have a little more bottom end power. Mod motors are prone to be finiky and and problematic due to all the modding(depending on brand). I would stick with a stock motor and use the extra $200 you are saving to get your gearing right to compensate for the small diffence in power output low in the range.

Well in a way yes, but you dont know what they did to the engine, may be they did some crazy modding? we dont know. I just dont believe they would not mod their engine expecially in these kind of big race with big name!

Not too bad of a choise could be the NovaMega ev5 MS version along with some of the above mentioned engines. Can be had for under$400. If you need more power than that, you would not need to ask this question .

Default Nova RX21-SS

Anyone knows where I can get an SS version of the Nova engine? Is a previous model and existed where the R1 was launched, had one and needed to trash it.

Loved the way it worked, very very different to R1 and 'warmed up' versions, definitely was a very gentle engine for newcomers and low-grip tracks.

For less than 450$ will definitely get a Nova R1WC or the Sirio .21 AAC. The Nova one after two years of life in the market seems to be the one to be matched and every engine compares itself to the Nova one. Enough power for 99% of people

Default About sirio

well maybe you are right they do something inside the engine. Do you think nova engine will not do the same. Sirio its a new engine but in a short time they were champion.
