Thumbs up

check here

This is my first sts engine and ran it in two weeks ago. very fine made. you need longer time to run in the engine as piston/sleeve are tight when new. I spent 1/2 days to run in the engine and I think I need to take more time to work on it.

spent around 10 tanks on starter box with very rich needle and then ran it on track without kick in 2nd speed for another 6 tanks. the speed is merely similar to a EP TC at 23T

leaned up the needle gradulately and seems the engine has very good power. bottom end is mild but power which could be the reason of 6.5mm carb. Very smooth power band. an engine with very good potential. I think i need to gear it down a bit on the 2speed to get every juice out of it on the next RC day. we will see.

Default sts engine

i am currently running the new D5 engine, the engine seems to have alot of improvement than the first generation sts engines. The engine is very comptetive with its price and performance. I give two thumbs up! Buy one before you get your ass kicked by your friend!

STS makes some great engines at the fraction of the cost for the JPS.. i have asked my father to get a few Dragon series for me from Taiwan, can 't wait

Default D5

I bought it off the net after teamcrc confirmed that they are still trying to sell the RS3/5 (old versions) and Dragons were not in at this moment.

For 143 bucks with s+h included it can't be beat !! ha ha

I am waiting for the D3 right now.
