That Mclaren body has actually been around for at least 4 or 5 years. I used to run at a local paved oval track with my OFNA GTP 1/8 scale and that was one of the bodies offerd in the kit. It's pretty good but I recently drove a 1/8 rally with the new Protoform body and the handling was much better than with the Mclaren body.

Yes it's been around the International Rally Game class for a long time, but it is new to the Kyosho GT line up of bodies, and definetely has better details and looks than all those other McLaren bodies around....thumbs up for Kyosho.

I want one

The "splitter" up front and the adjustable rear wing are "downforce" makers.

Between the Audi, Vette and this F1; we're seeing some nice stuff from Kyosho.

I wonder what's next

I am a hobby robotist.I am working on a small robot for which I am thinking of making Custom case using Hard RC foam.I want to make it into a desired shape (basically cast it).I search a lot in google about making RC foam but no use.I found a thread of yours in the forum.

Could you please help me with making the RC foam (I am thinking of making it in the home with minimum possible resources).

I like it! Here's my FG. Maybe it should have a little brother.

Very good looking body. I guess that this one is for the IGT2, right? I have the OFNA Mclaren that fits the IGT1 and it isn't anything close to this new one as far as looks.

Search the internet for BJB Enterprises, they make expandable foam systems that you can mold at home.

Read on another thread that this body will not be out "officially" until March 2009. If this is true, this sucks big time!!

That was straight from the Kyosho's USA site.
