Hey guys I need to get a battery for the mtx-5 I was told to get the LRP LiFePo RX-Pack 2/3A Straight 1600 RX On. 6,6V 79950 but its hard to find here in AUS just wondering what else is good for the car?

Also looking at getting a set of contact foamys just wondering what size you guys run?

Thanks

Hi mate I use INTELLECT LE1600J2S IP LiFe 6.6V 1600mAh.
They fit well
Also the contacts are a great tyre, definitely try some a lot of us use a 40s on the rear and 37s front. But the track you run at will define the best compound, so check with other local racers to see what works well.

Are there any mugen drivers left or did everyone switch to the new X?

There's still a few of us out here. My car felt good out last time I was out. Just upgraded to an aluminum servo saver. Toe measurements are more consistent now.

The aluminum servo saver on this car is a must, they made a mistake with the plastic one.
Also play around with the sway bars. Go crazy and try a small sway in the rear. Trust me

Ok, inside the saver there are 2 v-shaped cups, but on mine they were not making contact as if the outer cup was too long. this caused the car to wander especially after a hard turn. It wandered so much that i had to keep adjusting the steering trims, then i read on here that you had to sand down one side slightly which solved the issue. Not only that it started to bend after a while. The aluminum saver solved all of that, and it came in the color of mugen green on top of that.

with the plastic servo saver it tends to crack right where you put the screw in that holds the servo arm and it will throw your settings off the aluminum one will solve all the problems
