Default Shumaucher Fusion R12

I recently finished building my Fusion R12 1/10 touring car and was wondering what nuggets of information those of you who have been running it for a few wekks have for me?

It is a good car as it felt lighter than the NTC3 and accelerates very good off the line.

I'm afraid that the parts may not be as beefy as other cars and the arms and UJ breaks easy. Unlike the NTC3, the parts for the R12 are very expensive where I come from. Maybe not from where you are.

My 2 cents.

Chris - InitialD and I know someone with one who is a RC veteran and he is chucking it. The shocks really sucks. Sorry to be the harbinger of bad news.

The problem I notice with reviews in mags is that they always say the car is great, I have yet to see one what says a car is bad when it really is.

Default Funny

That's funny, the shocks where smoother than my onibtanium (sp)NTC3 shocks once I was careful in bleeding them properly? I have run a few tanks on the break in and the car is both nimble and ballistic? I spoke with Troy of Shumacher and he gave me some advice that there team drivers have found.
1. add 2mm shims under the rear shock tower to raise the roll center.
2. Use the Mission shock towers if you want more shock travel

I think the big issue with some people might be how stiff the cars is, and they maybe use to a more springgy car? The stiffer you can get your suspension and keep the car drivable, the faster it will be... Those two changes are supposed to free the car up more to p-lot driving needs, I'll get back with you all after I actually run a race this weekend.

Chris, I don't know if you mistook what I said. I did not complain about the performance. The car like what you said is nimble and fast. I'm just complaining about the parts... Drive it in a race and you'll find out.

Default boards

It's all about NOT hitting the boards bro... I hit boards now and then, but I keep it clean most of the time. Parts are the same price as associated straight from Shuwy? I'll let you know how things turn-out.

You seem to have more info on this than any of us. So why the question in the first place. Is this a sneaky Schumacher commercial??

I more interested to see what experince people have been having with the car? I have yet to drive it in a race, and wanted to know what to look out for? I know it'll be a great permenant track car, but what about the P-Lot?
