Default Convert Nova 3 port turbo to 5 port turbo??

Hi I just got an old Nova 3 port turbo and was thinking of changing the sleeve and piston to give it some life. Has anyone ever tried or is it even possible to purchase the 5 port turbo sleeve and piston and install/run it in the 3 port turbo case? if so could anyone advise what needs to be done? thanks to all the kind souls who may be able to advise.

The case of a 3 port and a 5 port is the same, all you need to do is drop in a 5 port version of the piston/sleeve set to make it a 5 port.

Do not get fooled that a 5 port engine is faster.....

It doesn´t matter...yes it is simple.

The difference is in internal passsage diam., but just drop in the 5 port sleeve and it works fine, and guess what, with the 3 port crank it has more top end....you loose a bit in low end, but not that much...OS has tons of it....been there tried it both ways.

my 2 cents

I have a 4 year old nova that I cant seem to find the right sleeve for.
The exhaust port is very wide on the newer .12's
