Well guys...I hoped this would be over and done with but I got a raher nasty email from Mr. Collins yesterday pretty mch telling me that he was not happy with my statements on this thread and to remove my posts. Also if i did not respond to his message..he would assume that i agree. I responded and here's what I wrote.

No..I don't agree and there is a difference between negativity and my right to exercise my opinions as a CP member, the GT class represents growth in r/c car racing as well as revenue for your event. I have not bashed anybody and I personally get the feeling that the CP "club" is not a club but just a front to collect some money so my opinion is null and viod and I am basically being told to shut the fuck up and take what is given?

U tell me?

All of us go back a ways and people are gonna have their differences, this goes for everyone and I have no beef's with anybody and as a friend I will tell U that the decisions made for that race are greatly going to effect the turnout. If that is the strategy, you guys have done well. and if this is the responses I get from making my suggestions as a CP club member..is this really a club?

I am trying my best to get these local tracks coordinated so we can keep this thing going and I even told James we would pay his entry fee for our race and I got a call yesterday for someone who will provide tires for him just so the CP CEO will be there?....no response!!

This really concerns me but since my help and opinions are not welcomed or heard, I will assume that everything is under control and there is really no need to even dwell on this. please sign me up for 1/10 sedan on green or yellow and I will see U at the race, best of luck on the event and sending a handshake

G.W.

Here is his response

DEAR: glenn

Yes you are being told to back the FUCK up for lack of better words!!!!!!!

Why would I take advice from someone who can't start and finish his race in a timely matter, when you're able to accomplish these feats let me know!

You are a great example of bad scheduling!

I take offense to your statement of calling this or any race held at CP a front for making money, call any other track in the US in regards to the amount charged to race their toys for tots; call Dana or simply check his website! it's called covering your overhead!

You don't have to pay rent these guys do; and by the way don't try giving me some BULLSHIT monthly charge amount that you pay, I've checked that out with cal trans, and the city! NOTHING! I was told you are on a month to month with no charge as long as the facility is kept up.

In regards to what class is ran I made it clear of why EXTRA CLASSES want be ran DM1, 220, Outlaw, 5TH scale, Master, if I was in it for the money I would of ran these classes and taken the money and entry's knowing we would never finish on time like you do !

I discussed running this race with James over a year ago, this will be my schedule for every race I run with the exception of adding classes according to time. 7 minutes adds 30 minutes to my total race time adding another class adds over 2 hours to the race program; I forgot to review the flyer before it was posted this was a mistake corrected by me on RC Tech's thread.

I'VE NEVER BAD MOUTH ANY OF YOUR OFF SCHEDULE LATE STARTING LATE FINISHING RACES ONLINE SO DO THE RIGHT THING AND REMOVE ALL NEGATIVE POSTS AND KEEP YOUR SHADY COMMENTS TO YOURSELF!

THE REAL RACERS WILL ATTEND, SO DON'T WORRY ABOUT OUR TURNOUT!

NEXT TIME BE A MAN AND CALL ME IRECT; THIS TYPING SHIT IS FOR THE BIRDS!

All I can say is this is from someone I thought was my friend, perhaps U have a lot of people fooled?. Also below is a page from 1 of our rental agreements with the city, Hope U notice the recipt.

So I guess this makes Mr. Collins either a bad mathmetician or a straight up liar, obviously..U never checked with anybody at the city!! and as far as our club...because we take suggestions and grow, races are running fine AND on time!!

I have also forwarded a copy of your so eliquent response to the city and also to our club attorney. Like I said...thought we were friends?

G.W.
