No hard feelings. In hindsight I probably would've went with a Mugen if I would've waited an extra week or maybe even a 720. That said, I shelled out the dough and now I have to make the best with what I've got!

As for toward then end of the year... I really like what I see with all these completely new 200mm chassis coming out and the Capricorn gives me a stiffy Looks like 200mm nitro is gaining in popularity again.

Hi guys,

Just wondering what (if any) trick parts the G4+ Evo misses out on compared to the Earlier G4+?

Pivot balls, pivot ball nuts, that kind of small detail stuff that could be overlooked.

Cheers

The +Evo is the "+", plus more!

You're only missing out on the exclusivity that comes with the regular plus' serial numbers (0-999)

The +Evo is essentially the car that the TM driver's use and possibly the last version of the original G4 line.

If you dont have a car yet and are looking into the g4 wouldnt it be best to wait for the G4 II? TM already has it listed on their homepage so it must be around the corner.

lets home that with this car they also bring better parts support to the states.

I know this a little bit off topic but that rear hinge pin brace looks adjustable. Does it change kick up or something or does it sort of adopt the same principles of 1/8 cars where the rear body mounts float so they don't affect the suspension. Can someone please explain how this works for me

Cheers

here is how i see that the +evo is a hopped up rs w/wc chasis and the orig + is a hopped up G4S , the + has the $131 k factory alum ED trans, $53 one piece engine mount, and $50 cf 4 mm shock tower w/alum shock tower stiffiner which only has 2 roll center option, they probably did away with those to lessen the weight or price

This thing?

I thought it was slotted to allow room for the roll center adjustment?

wooow it seems instead of getting better Tm regresses their design and tricks the public into thinking its a better car...

it seems to me the best G4 out there is still the first limited G4+.

still the g4+ has a one way solid axle, aluminum pulleys, alum. ED transmission, hard coated shocks, kfactory ZF bearings.

the G4RS nor the G4+ EVO has any of that stuff.

and it doesnt look like the new G4 II will either.

for that we will just have to wait and see.

for me the zf bearings are a waste... its ok to buy them and use them for 1-2 race metings but after that most of them dont work anymore, exept the diff bearings....

I would love to support the company I have had a g4 for a WHILE now my first car was the Mongoose by RD logics which was a G4, but sometimes I don't understand this company, parts support being one thing, I will give them till May to either release the g4 II tested or improve parts support in the USA, if nothing is done, which i doubt will be, i will reluctantly have to switch brands.
