without the swaybar at least one wheel will stay planted to the ground.
has anyone tried running without the front swaybar on the team magic?
In a prepped race track, you can be safe to say that the track is 99% free of debris, so the number of times a debris can imbalance the car due to sway bar is negligible.

During a turn, when the outside wheel is compressed, the sway bar compresses the inside wheel, thus lowering the CG. With a lower CG, you can go in and out of a turn faster. This keeps the car planted and has quicker reaction.

I have a team magic g4RS NEVER RAN its brand spanking new, I built it and had to step away from r/c for a while so it sat there collecting dust, it has NEVER seen the outdoors, should I sell it and buy the Evo + or keep it and race it?

I say keep it and race it. Or if bling is your thing, the +Evo has it in spades. In that case sell the RS and get the +Evo. Just think, an RS with the WC upgrade is already more than the +Evo.

Kinda saddened. My cool "Team Magic" hood ornament on my +Evo upper bumper support came off. Sunday was open practice and my poor car was beatup on by nubs who never race and take off at the end of the countdown before the start tone. Rear-ended, T-boned, Head-on, crap I'm really impressed with how well the car has held up.

is there a single kit out there to convert the g4rs into the evo+ or a kit with all the WC parts?

also did TM ever sort out its US distributors? or is it still just wolfhobbies carrying their parts here?

The WC upgrade is just a lower deck with bulkheads. The +Evo kit is the kid of the older plus and RS and some. Good value considering what the kit comes with opposed to other versions of the G4 chassis.

Raceday Hobbies has TM G4 parts. Thing is I see absolutely nothing TM on their mainpage but have quite the selection in their Ebay store.

because the mugen mtx4-r is $399

I just wonder in terms of hop ups how the mtx-4r compares to the g4+ EVO, I know it doesnt matter and the mugen is probably just as fast, but those inovating parts just arent there on the mtx4r are they?

but I guess the mugen is alot more durable, sorry if I am turning this into a flame war, im not trying too, but when only 1 place I know of carries tm parts and that place is online, its kinda hard.

even the nt1 008 is looking good, but I think the mtx4r is a newer model isnt it?

i hate to turn my back on TM like this, I have owned a mongoose, g4, and a g4rs, but they essentially did the same to me when they cut almost all US distribution, so I think Im done with TM, sorry guys...
