NS12S5 Question on Venturi
How many of you are running the venturi (carb insert) on your S5 engine?
Did anyone take it out?
Did you notice a big difference?
Thanks
Eric

Without venturi???
Yes, there's a difference, in few words.
- More high end.
- Less low end.
- More fuel comsuption (more times to pit).
- Less driveability at low-rpms or tight tracks.
- More abrupt powerband.
Sometimes when track conditions require I use 5.2 or 5.0mm carb restrictors, better low-end, more fuel mileage and other benefits. At the end of main, marshalls measured me three times the tank capacity because I was pitting about 7 minutes each tank
