Sure seems like you were upset. You went to the extent of saying something online that I bet you wouldn't say if we were standing face to face. 43 posts and you already have 4 guys that think you need to grow up. Feel free to apologize anytime.

For what its worth, I didn't hijack any thread. When did you become the thread police? I didn't see the guy that started the thread complain either. Somebody is looking for a product and all I did was give him a link to what is basically the same thing and is available right now. If you, he or anybody else wants to wait for the Novarossi part you are more than welcome to do just that. I am also a friend of the Novarossi USA distributor, but he doesn't have the cooler in stock.

I don't think you should be bugging him about his spelling when your spelling, punctuation and grammar are so bad.

Hey Geeky.....try not to act like a horse's rump...

this is a class bunch of guys, not the usual DB's you see on the gaming forums......

No one is impressed by the "vid game" attitude....

We are only impressed by RC cars and the love we have for them....

So unless you have a RC vehicle( radio shack not allowed)...and show some respect to your elders, be gone little boy..

BTW.......REPORTED!

Default Effective or not?

Has anybody measured the temperatures with and without it?

What are the runtime differences in similar conditions and without changing engine settings?

What is happening to the "back preasure volumes"? No consideration anymore overnight?

As the runtime is the main focus, what about the other solutions which came up during the Euros as well? E.g. the preasure reduction by Fantini with a needle valve...

So far, I doubt any noticeable effect of this cooling device. Well, and the price appears more then questionable for a piece of simple machined aluminium and two preasure nipple...

Sure, the Novarossi Team will run it however and might tell how fantastic it is

Any feedback from the Picco/IDM or Sirio frontline?

Cheers

I totally agree if it does.

Therefore my prior questions, if anyone has more experience with it already. Would be great if somebody could share.

as quoted on Novas site

During the EC-A 2008 which was held in a very hot Valencia many drivers had problems to make the five minutes on 1 fuel tank.

After our team manager handed out some prototype parts of our new 'Exhaust Gas Cooler' to our team drivers (Vuga, Collari, Balestri, Pietsch, Pirani, Lackner to name a few) they where able to use the full potential of their 359 Race . 21 engines again because they did not have to worry about five minutes anymore

I know that and its great PR/Advertisment from Novarossi.

Then, why wasnt e.g. Vuga running it in the Euro Final?

See picture: http://events.redrc.net/wp-content/g...nejVugaCar.jpg

If it improves runtime, I would install it to be on the safe side for 5min pitstops...

Still, I doubt any or reckon a non measurable effect of the cooler.

Lets see if some guys will respond with their experience with it.

Cheers

Just saw an other great PR work of Novarossi on the redrc homepage

On the right side of the page you will find a flash animation:

359 Race + Cooler = 1:8 European Onroad Champion 2008

A clear statement but not very precise... Vuga was not using the cooler at least in the Final... (see the prior linked picture)

Well, in some countries would such a "gap" be a serious offence

I do not want to fingerpointing here, just sharing my thoughts...
