I know him and I emailed him but if his domain is gone then he will not receive my email because its a redrc email address. :rolleyes:

I hope he is not gone. There aren't many sites for onroad RC cars left out there.

My bookmark doesn't work for some reason but when I type it in (www.redrc.net) it comes up.

Did you try to clear your browser's cache? I think you might be looking at a version stored either on your HD or maybe through your prozy server.

Or maybe the DNS from our side is down because I definitely cannot see the site with Chrome, FF, IE, Opera etc.

Oddly enough, the only links that don't work for me are ones that do not include the"www" in it. For instance this link, which I have never used before so it shouldn't be cached, works fine:

While this one does not:

I own several domains, and when it comes time to renew, there is always a holding time on the domain name in case you forgot to renew,,,

Ah yes, you're right Harry. I forgot to renew one of mine in the past and I could still renew it soon after.

HI Guys,

Scotty Ernst here, The Red RC guys are with me here at our event in Germany doing our live coverage and at about 3pm Germany time the site got Hi Jacked.
somebody re designated the IP address to go to some Junk website. The problem was serious but the guys did what was necessary to change it back. unfortunately it takes many hours for the DNS to reset and that may take more than a day.

Some links on the site can still get access, but it is tough.

It is sad that this had to happen during this busy weekend of the Roar nats and our ETS Touring event in Germany. But it is kind a honor is some ways that the site is that popular and has that much traffic that a hacker wants to do that.

So it should be back up soon.
