Another look at Collari & his assistant - could he be the Sirio engine maker himself?
I believe the Sirio engine designer is still Rossi's clan...his name is Andrea Rossi. He was Mario Rossi's cousin.Curly hair with nice smile...:d

If you can find his pictures, it'll be great to post it here too... in future, we'll know who's who at big events...

Default Collari's Kyosho Fantom

I was rummaging through the photos and noticed that the Fantom used by Collari was not the prototype Fantom with the laid down throttle servo. Can anybody confirm this? I thought all of them were using the latest Fantom prototype like the one Cyrul used...

The image server is working again, and just about all the images are now uploaded. I still need to upload Friday's pictures, as well as the Quarter and Semi Finals pictures.

http://www.forgas.org:1089

Just follow the links.

Click once on a thumbnail for a mid-size image, and click on that image for the full-size photo.

If anyone has questions about any of them, ask in the "worlds" conference over there. There's a list there (I think it's in item #3) of the captions for all the images in the "Finals" gallery. All those images are in cronological order.

Oh yeah, if you know anyone whose car appears in the gallery, let them know so they can download the image. Unless I get a new computer installed with lots more disk space, these will all probably have to go before the Winternats, to free up space.

If there are other discussion areas on the 'net, please pass this on.

All of the team Kyosho cars were the latest version with a laid down steering servo...

Team Serpent did not use their latest car, the 950R, due to lack of parts.

Looking at the pics of Collari's car Mike Myers posted, it doesn't seem that way.

That's Franck Bestel in the photo, the Frenchman who bumped up twice to make the final.

Mike Swauger is American. The guy who was running around and tuning everyone's modified Serpent/NovaMega engines is the current German Champion--Karl-Heinz Meister, aka KHM [modifieds]. The 2003 German Championship has not happened yet...

My mistake, I thought you were talking about the steering servo.

Where did you see a laid down throttle/brake servo on Cyrul's car? I don't recall his car being any different than the others (although I saw his car the least out of Team Kyosho since he was situated in a trailor).

There was a post here that discussed the differences between the prototype Kyosho Fantom and the Serpent 950R. The picture of Josh's Kyosho Fantom which has tghe laid down throttle servo was actually linked from Mike Myer's forgas image server but after since there was some technical problems, the picture could not be found anymore.
