Had the opportunity to race the new Kyosho IGT2 at the Fort Meyers Civic Center track in Florida last weekend and won the 30 minute A Main with it.

The new chassis feels better balanced and has awesome steering. I was able to run a 17.7 second lap time (the fastest recorded lap of all "GT" cars attending) with the car and was able to run full throttle in the chicane area in front of the driver’s stand.

Kyosho’s optional shocks are a great addition and are smooth as silk.
The new engine ran very well for me on 16% Maxy Racing fuel, with an addition head shim and OS8 plug in the 240 to 260 degree range.

Ipanema Racing’s 55 shore pre-mounted radial slick tires gave the best traction for the day and got better as the 30 minute race went on.

I’m very happy with Kyosho’s new IGT2 car and look forward to racing it again very soon.

I have just received my IGT2 and needless to say I can´t wait for the weekend.

Gotta ask you though, since I had never owned one of these, what do you mean by Kyosho's optional shocks? Do you mean the ones that come with this car? Or are they a totally different part number?

Would you have a reference to a part number or store where I could get them if different?

Thanks!

The IGT2 shocks are an upgrade from the IGT car.

The IGT2 kit supplied shocks work very well.

If you're looking for the ultimate in suspension performance for all-out racing try these:

TRW105 New larger diameter, hard anodized shock bodies increase durability. The shock bodies are threaded to make quick and easy ride height adjustments.

These shocks are made with the meticulous attention to detail and quality for which Kyosho is known.

Hi jspeed, what are those white springs ? I've been using the stock black springs with these shocks since I got them. Are these softer? Benefit?

I don't know Bro, I have the part#:

IGW004-8022, IGW004-9022 & IG001-4 springs

I friend told me the white ones were the hardest, but I haven't seen them yet.
