Unhappy Back-pressure exhaust line- HPI RS4

I recently bought an HPI RS4 with a nitro Star .12 motor. It is running fine except when I open up the throttle, the line running from the exhaust to the top of my fuel tank for back-pressure keeps popping off of my exhaust. I've tried both zip ties and super glue, but nothing will hold it on, and this is causing fuel to be sprayed all over the rear end of my car. My car is constantly covered in fuel!!! Any help on attaching this line would be greatly appreciated!!!

Replace the fuel line, look for the Dubro brand, also clean the exhaust nipple with denatured alchohol before installing, that should take care of your problem.

Make sure it is medium tubing as well....and stay with the standard "light blue" color fuel line...Alot of the "flourescent" lines are harder, and don't grip as well....

You can also trim a 4mm piece of tubing off and put it on over the end that hooks to the exhaust nipple with a pair of needle nose pliers. It will help cinch it down.

Ok thanks. I tried using the original tubing that came with the kit as well but had the same problem. I guess i'll check for some higher quality tubing or at using the metal tubing to hold it in place.

Just use a long peice of tubing so the line goes at least 2 inches inside the exhaust and that should help alot.
