Have you noticed a difference between the Kyosho style rim and the Serpent style rim? Also will the trackwidth remain the same if I use the Kyosho style rim vs the Serpen rim?

I did try it and for me the car was wider and too stable with the kyosho style rims. However I did not try to change the set up and simply just changed rims. I know in europe they like the kyosho rim more, but not sure if it is because they do not spray the track. I may try it at the Nationals just to see, also working on the set up.

The Kyosho style wheel distorts less, back to back against Serpent style prolights your car will feel like it has a slight push with the Kyosho style among other slight differences. I really like the 2 degree offset (for my RRR) so I run them most of the time except on one low traction track that tends to chunk tires. I feel that the Kyosho style rubber doesn't hold up to rough (almost offroad style) parking lot surfaces as well as the softer wheels.

They probably like them in europe because they only use 2nd gear on tracks that big so you need the hard wheels to keep the geometry of the car correct.

Hey, are they not processing orders this week because the the NATs? I was just wondering since I ordered on monday and the order is still in pending status. I normally have a 2day turn around. I looked on the site and the board and did not see that they were not shipping this week.

Thanks!

Kevin is out of town, but I believe his shop is still processing orders. Send me an email and I will see if I can get it out the door. [email protected]
