Doug Mcneely showed me this car on Thur. That`s the Impulse Streetspec CF (carbon fiber). It`s basically a streetspec with a few pieces in carbon fiber instead of plastic. Nothing new, just adding a few items as a standard package instead of options.

Based on the description, it looks like the one described above, however the title for that listing is wrong. It is listed on ebay as an "Impulse PRO", when it's really an "Impulse PRO Street Racer".

Graphite shock towers, and foam tires are two of the major features of the PRO that are not included in the listed one. It's obvious from the pictures and description that it's the Street Racer.

Gave up with the 705 and returned to something more reliable?

If this car is a 705-R, and it's better, I'm going to shoot my foot.

I just spent $700 on a 705 and engine, pipe, body, reciever pack, plugs, starterbox, everything...

I thought this was a good time to buy it since there have been lots of updates since it came out.

hey dude! dont ever shoot your own foot just becoz YOUR 705.... i own a 705... and i am DAMN proud of it... to me 705 is the best... easy to built... and clean... and you got all the things that you ever wanted.... like carbon radio plate, low gravity battery pack, body stiffener, new 2 gear, centax II system and of course YOUR NOVAMEGA .12 engine... you still want to shoot your leg for THAT?

i dont think so...
