Lightbulb After the First Round Today

After the First round today JOSH is now TQ!

Top 5:

Josh Cyrul : 30 @ 10.01
Daniele Ielasi : 30 @ 10.03
Lamberto Collari : 30 @ 10.048
Adrein Bertin : 30 @ 10.049
Ralph Burch Jr : 30 @ 10.0495

Second round for today will be in two hours from now
and the conditions are getting better which may mean
faster lap times for everybody. Anything can still happen.

Fraz,

I should have explained further...
We were predicting that the top four yesterday would be
the top four today because we (here at the track) didnt
think other people would be able to go faster due to the
trend on Track Condition :

- Due to the winds yesterday which was bringing some dust...
- And especially with the weather forecasted with Hurrican Ysabella and all... Plus with the time difference between them...

My bad for assuming you knew all that info!!!

Default Josh Cyrul

Final Round just ended, Ielasi won the round but was'nt enough
to beat the current TQ set by Josh.. So Josh wil start the main
in the #1 position...

Ralph Burch Jr. was running in a pace to beat the TQ run by a
lot but turned the car over at one point and lost the chance to
do so.

They will post the final results in a bit....

Thanks for the updates Ronni. BTW, is this RonC? If so, it was fun racing with you at KZ a while back. I'm coming down for the Tamiya TCS race and the 1/5 scale worlds starting next week.

Exclamation Top 4 A Main Drivers

Here are the final results to show the Automatic
Four Drivers in the A-Main:

Josh Cyrul
Daniele Ielasi
Adrein Bertin
Lamberto Collari

The rest should work up from the Semi-Finals
beggining tomorrow... My bet, Osaka, dropped
down again to 15th... Talk about getting kicked
out!

Fraz,

No prob!
I heard KZ had a major make over, hope to
see guys out there again and Good Luck
in the 1/5th Worlds.

Is their no chance of Associated releasing a new 1:8th car. I did a lot of racing with the older RC250 cars. Totally loved racing 2WD flatbed cars. Required a lot more skill than the 4WD. We raced them here right up to the early 90's. Pity it all died away.

Default Engines at the Worlds

I see from the pics that Josh Cyrul and Adrein Bertin are both using the gold headed Sirio engines that is modified by M. Collari. I would assume Lamberto Collari also uses his father's modded engine as well... Perhaps a little more modded for himself.

Any word of the kind of fuel that they are using? It seems like they were using only 4% oil in their fuel and that makes changing conrods and main bearings pretty often.

Ummm, talking about engines, now where is the RB C5?

Yes he is, Watched him tune it himself right before his last run. Wish I could run like these guys. The last heat of the day was something to watch.

I posted more pics today as well.
