Default IFMAR 2004 235mm & 200mm World Championships

Thought some of you may be interested that the club in Brazil hosting the 2004 235mm & 200mm Pre Worlds and Worlds have setup a web site.

2004 IFMAR 235mm & 200mm WORLDS SITE

Cheers Alastair

The track looks nice but the biggest thing that stuck out at me was that they will be running anti-clockwise?! Does anyone know why this is. Is it just to add an extra dimension and some more challenge for the driver?

As far as I am aware there are a lot of tracks in Europe and South America that run anti clockwise. No idea why I guess it's just as normal for them to run that way as it is for us to run clockwise.

Ehhmm I think you'll find that almost the whole of Europe also drivers on the right-hand side! Only the United Kingdom and Ireland drive on the left.

But thinking of the tracks I know, most do here in Europe run anti-clockwise.

Cheers, Mar.

We also drive on the left in Australia. It gets very noisy if we drive on the right.

I didn't mean only the UK and Ireland on a global level Quite a surprising number of countries drive on the left.

Cheers, Mark.
