The New G2 Tc3 Chassis Kit
#46
It's close to what Barry ran at Rev - yellow springs (60) front, red springs (60 oil) rear. 5 mm RH all the way around (it did vary a touch). toe +2/-2, camber -2, -2; 45/40 tires.
It ran real well in the main. It would have run real well in the qualifiers if I had CHARGED the stupid battery. . .
The track is exTREMely high bite, exTREMely high speed.
I finished last in A-Main due to being introduced to Mr. Wall (popping a rear ball cap - it got put back on), then losing a front wheel nut (danged things - it got replaced) and then pushing too hard and flipping on my lid, tearing my wing half off - the car was still stable on the straight at full speed with the wing pointed halfway to San Diego!
Even though I finished 6th, I made up several laps and was running as good a lap as any of the others - Revelation Results
I actually had a better day with my electric mod pan car. . .turned faster laps with it, too. it's what a 9x2 and only 40oz will get you!
but two classes and only 6 heats? man, that was too much.

Just got my G2 chassis, let me say this thing is sweet. I got it all setup and everything went smooth. Can't wait till racing season to try this thing out. Also just received a Novarossi NS12S3. I will be doing some Modifying this week on the engine. This is going to be 1 sweet car by spring.

When are these gonna be available again?
Jason- I inquired about a NTC3 chassis on the 6th on Jan '04 and you said it'd be 2 weeks before you'd have some. I need to get 2 of them installed and shakin' down before the Airtronics race at Revelation in March. Please fire up that machine soon and crank some of those babies out soon. I need that edge to be competitive with a 2 1/2 year old car.
Thanks

Thanks Jason
You also have my e-mail and so does Jim.
Jim is probably tired of hearing from me.

Damn Bro! You up bright and early this morning for some reason! LOL
I think we have the first 2 Sirio mods from Richey Motorsports. Don't know if that's a good thing or bad thing! Now, it's your job to plant that Richey power to the ground.
I think he was alittle concerned with the crankshafts and rods, so he done alittle extra work in these areas.
Some Sirio engine are prone to break crankshafts or pull the rods apart. I'm sure Dennis done all he can do to help prevent this.
You may have to go 1 tooth lower on gearing than you usually use.
I hate it that you probably did'nt get them in time for any break in or seat time , you never know about a new engine. But, at least you got them in time, that's a plus!
GOOD LUCK! At the races today!
PM me sometime and let me know, how the engine works.

I'm Still here waiting patiently
Sitting on my hands counting ceiling tiles. I'll be ready for 2 of those chassis the minute they're born.
P.S. A racing buddy of mine wants to know if you might ever do a chassis for the Tamiya F1 car. He's all into that now and the class is becoming huge. I might even grab one myself for next winter.

The Fix!
Is Jim still the best person to get in contact with for ordering "The Fix"? If so or if not, how or who?
