Exclamation Exceed 1/10 nitro

Does anyone out there have the Exceed Ultra 1/10 nitro sedan? If so, how do you like it? I am having trouble finding parts for the .16CXP engine that comes with it; specifically the connecting rod and the piston and sleeve.

Anyone who races nitro knows that sooner or later those parts need to be replaced.

Also any experience with nitrorcx.com? How are they to deal with?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I have never heard of 'Exceed Ultra' so that might explain parts availability as not many people would race them especially if they are using a .16 engine. Maybe it might be time to look at buying a new motor that is well known so then parts will be easily available

Overall I like my Exceed Ultra, however a few things to take note of:

The 2 speed trans is junk and doesn't shift right, if at all; so I removed it and bought the 1 speed trans from Nitro RCX instead. I reccommend that change for everyone.

Also, the wheelbase is just slightly longer than other 1/10 nitro touring cars so, other bodies, like the ones from HPI or Tamiya, etc. need to have the wheel wells cut a little differently to fit. I have an HPI 1968 Camaro body on mine.

Lastly, while it is a solid car and about half the price of the HPI, remember that you have to get all parts online from Nitro RCX; you can't go to your local hobby shop for parts unfortunately. And I have found that Nitro RCX doesn't always have the parts OR the cars themselves in stock.
