As good as the Associated SC8 body handles on the track and with high speed runs, it is clear to me that these bodies do not have to look aerodynamic to be aerodynamic. The new resurgence in trans-am style racing with the boss 302 laying down a whippin on BMW, Corvette and Audi...I think at least one body from this line would help promote this racing.

This new chassis provides relatively scale/realistic proportions - and I'm really excited about that fact. The eventual racing series for this class will require "fully licensed" body styles for eligibility - in order to keep things realistic. I need to get my hands on one as soon as possible.

I would LOVE to see a long wheel base PF8 body - it's a good looking body that seems to work well plus there is some durability also!

So, where is ProtoForm at with a GT2 body &/or a streched PF8? I'm not after a 'replica' body; just something that can be painted to look like a 'real' car!

Alpha RC R1 Long Wheelbase body is based on Audio RX8, its not a Scale Clone, but basic lines went from that :

This body belongs to a friend who race DM ONE 1/7 on GT Class with R1 Alpha RC Body,

ps : - My friend is the local HPI/Hotbodies distributor thats why the HB stickers lol !

cya !

I was wondering about those HPI decals. For the body being so lite, it's strong on the track.

That body looks like a clone of several bodies. I hope proline does not copy it.

OK racers lets get back on the subject,

I would like to also see stretched version of the PF8 body or a new design body that fits both the DM1 375mm wheel base and the GT2 260mm wheelbase cars.
The chopped down roof line is not a necessity because it alters the scale appearance so much.

Yes, you're right. I too would like to see this happen. Protoform have made some great bodies for us racers of all classes.

This thread was started by Dale to talk about his products, it shows total disrespect and a lack of class to try to sleaze anything else on it.

Dale,

JLOCK was talking about RX8 based bodies and alike, i just put this because the Alpha one is kinda based on RX8.

If you feel attacked or "hacked" by my post, just let me know and i will erase the pics and posts, no problem.

Personally, i would love to see more protoform bodies alternatives for GT Class (1/8 and 1/7) ... at least in 1/10th and 1/8th onroad Protoform have the best performing bodies available, share some love with us GT racers.

ps : - Someone needs some love around here ... or a good massage or relaxing therapy , peace !

Pato, I don't think you realize you've posted pictures of your sponsor's product pushing it all over Dale's thread. There's more pics and where to buy it here than pics of Dale's product.

Try to have some respect dude and think about it, I know you're better than that, no?

No offence taken guys! We're all living in a world that's gradually becoming devoid of all basic ethics and civility. Just look at the what's going on in society on any news program. Pretty darn sad. Just don't fall in the same trap guys.

What's happened here on this thread "ain't nuttin" to get upset about impo.

ANYWAY - I know I'm a dollar short and a day late as usual, (errr...make that a year late) but I'm working on some neat stuff for GT2 - honestly. As the first project gets closer, I'll give you more details.

Thanks for your patience and support.

Dale you're so correct +1, but sooner or later good people have to stand up to sleazebags or they'll eventually rule the world.

Good luck Dale.
