I agree with Garen here. Should be pure entertainment value. Worth the price of admission.

Did I miss a class on the entries? Was there a novice class for Solo????

Mike-

You might think about entering the novice class as well! When was the last time you ran on road???? 2001?

WOW. And here it begins. LOL.

Lets see, the last time I raced on-road was last year at the Paris race. I ran a borrowed car in 1 heat and still out qualified you? OH!!! And I had a hinge pin coming out of the car!

Sorry, but I don't remember those 'practice' rounds. I remember the main though! I seem to recall finishing second behind Garen. Where were you?

I have the new corvette in my hand and now
Garen has me thinking the gearing would be wrong , (not that it would matter), with my skill level, but would it be best to stay with the car I had down there in April?

I am guessing the GT2 gearing will be too tall for this layout. You can change the gearing back to GT gearing (15-19 46-43) or bring both cars, or maybe I am wrong and you'll be fine with what you have.

Depends on what motor you are running. I run 17/20 with 45/48 gearing in my IGT with 99mm foams.

If I am not mistaken GT2 gearing is 15-21 46-40. The straight would need to be about 300' long to get full use of that gearing.

I believe I'm running 14/19 with a 45/40 spur set up in my rig. We'll see how that goes in Vegas. Might need more on the straight, but we'll see.....

if your ring and pinions are the same as K IGT, a 19/40 is more than enough for the straight, unless you run really small tires.

Okay, I'm not sure about the new car, so I'm going to just bring the Ferrari I had down there in April. How are you guys trueing your foam tires. I have the Integy truer, but they won't fit on the arbor. I made an arbor for them but they won't even fit in the machine.
