Hey Rich,

Like i said on AOL Instant Messenger already when you messaged me, that TONY CLARK was asking about how many 1/8th entries there are. So he OBVIOUSLY doesn't know about how you run things. So obviously you explained it to me once before. You know, I really don't understand what your problem is, please bother me online only for something important, rather than such a trivial issue such as your stubbornness to NOT post an entry list.

So with that said,

Thank you for YOUR time.

Tony, there probably are not too many people pre entered yet, but most everyone waits until the last minute to sign up. Regardless, I think there will be a good turnout overall, and you will like the track and the race.

However, if you go through there properly, you still carry plenty of speed down the straight so your suggestion to gear up or bring rods is a good one. I think there is an animation on the 4aces site which shows both the spring and fall layouts.
Every year someone gets on the track for their first practice and forgets about the porkchop and goes full throttle out of the left side sweeper right into the boards...
I haven't run the 'pork chop' setup. Yes... I would probably be 'the one' to power off the sweeper thinking straight and taco the GT chassis... Thanks for the head-up. I will be there Thursday morning. Perhaps, with enough practice I will make it through that section well enough to use taller gearing.

Well, if you are running the IGT car with Kyosho pinion and spur gears, my suggestion is to try 15/19 on the bell and 46/43 on the spurs. The new 15/21 46/40 is very tall and likely not going to work on that track. As for a converted Losi, I have no idea what gearing will work but I look forward to seeing one run. For the DM-1 Spec car, I am fairly certain 16/20 49/45 will be good, unless you have a motor/pipe combo that provides a ton of bottom end power, in which case a 48/44 will be good.

Garen,

I ran the 15/19 last spring and it wasn't tall enough. If the porkchop track's straight is about 20 % shorter then that would be the right gearing for my engine. I ran out of rev's with about 20% of the straight left. Good information. Thanks

It's about that much shorter, but you do carry a lot of speed entering. However, the optional 46/40 gearing is very tall and will hurt you more than help you. If the straight was 50' longer and the infield did not have so many hairpins, then maybe the optional gearing might work.
