I looked at the schedule but couldn't understand whether qualifiers start Friday or Saturday?

Usually, Friday is practice, Sat. is quals, and Sunday Mains. Nice. Easy. Somewhat relaxing, and quite enjoyable!

Nazi is right for the most part. I think the track will be open for practice Thursday afternoon for anyone getting there early, again all day Friday. Saturday is qualifying and Sunday mains. There might be some lower mains run on Saturday. I think the challenge races will take place Saturday after quals are over.

Got it, INS is a noise restrictor filter cover, and not required for the IGT class is what Garen said.

Sounds good to me.

Are the IGT's being teched at all?
What would the rules be if say I convert an 8ight to an onroad and try and run it there in Nov?
I'd bring the IGT as well, but I wanna try out a conversion on my buggy.

Convert your 8 and bring it out, no problem.

Bring some extra con rods. Unless you gear it tall or convert to a two speed the straight is long and you will have it wound up for a long time... tough on con rods.

Zoot, I don't know if you have been to the fall race before, but the straight is a little shorter. The porkchop layout is used so instead of going sweeper to sweeper, there is a 'porkchop' section, which leads to onto the straight. However, if you go through there properly, you still carry plenty of speed down the straight so your suggestion to gear up or bring rods is a good one. I think there is an animation on the 4aces site which shows both the spring and fall layouts.
Every year someone gets on the track for their first practice and forgets about the porkchop and goes full throttle out of the left side sweeper right into the boards...

For some odd reason Mr. Taylor doesn't ever post an entry list. So you'll never know how many 1/8th cars are entered.
