Default Parma R-12 1/8 body

I have been getting some calls about our new R-12 body. Here is a picture of it.

It was first run at the Byron's Challenge last month, TQ and winning 1/8. It was also the top 4 qualifiers. We have found the body has more steering than other bodies on the market without sliding the rear end and making the car hard to drive. It will be also run by many top drivers the next week's GLC.

It is available now at your favorite 1/8 shop!!

With the characteristics described by Paul, I agree. This body was faster at the Byron's challenge. I was about .2-.3 a second faster per lap at Byron's. I have yet to run it at Toledo (where the GLC will run next weekend), but I haven seen Josh, Paul, and Aaron Buran all racing it and they all thought it was good.

Parma & Paul nice job for another great body!!!!

Paul pretty much summed up the characteristics of the body in general. I've been running it now for the past two weekends at 301 Raceway and agree it does have more steering and is very stable. I especially noticed the difference when making the left 180 just before getting on the back straight at 301. It doesn't have the nervousness/twitch of some of the other bodies.

I will be at 301 Raceway on Saturday if anybody wants to swing by a take a look or try it out.

Thanks Paul!! Keep up the great work and will see you next week!!!!

It was sent to ROAR for approval and they said it should not be a problem.

Man I keep coming up with more questions.

Where are you mounting it on the Mugen?

Thumbs up PARMA R-12 ... Great handling!

I think the majority that have had the oppertunity
to try the New R-12 have summed it up perfectly!
Definately another Improvement by Paul and his
Team at Parma Int'l!

It has great Steering without giving up the Rear
traction as some bodies do when creating so much
down force on the front end. Very well balanced
and Definately Well PLANTED!

I was able to try the new R-12 last week at the
Texas Biggie. I set up my MRX4X with the R-11
and ran 1 solid Qualifier with it. I ran a: 17/5:12
Which set TQ for Round 1

I then did nothing more to the set up on the Chassis
except a Body Change / Swap! I put the R-12 on
and ran 2 more Qualifiers: 17/5:06 and a 17/5:04
Definately took some time off the laps from the R-11.
After a few mis haps I finished 2nd in the 45 minute
A-Main.

For more details you can see the differences in the
lap times from the Biggie Thread. R-11 Round 1 &
R-12 Rounds 3 & 4.

Thanks again to Paul & PARMA for the continued
development of 1/8 AUDI R-Series On-Road Bodies!
Attached are a few pictures of the R-12 I ran.

Take care!

Terry Brown
