Great to hear this was a good event! Is this going to become a regular venue?

What a weekend of racing! Thanks to the entire Nercar crew, thanks to GPNY for there hospitality and to Sohlman for setting this up. It would be great to race at this location again. Congrats to Jamie Corrado and to Richie Siriano for the TQ and wins. Consistency is key and you guys had it all weekend. Everyone had a great time, and thats what its all about. Having the shifter kart ripping it up at the end was a nice cap off to the weekend!

Peace and God bless,

That sure was a cool weekend. Good racing...inside GPNY and on the track. Congrats Jamie and Richie for their wins. Many thanks to Ralph, Andrew, Gail & the entire NERCAR crew for putting on a great event.

And to all the racers, our usually hidden world of r/c was on display this past weekend to the likes of Westchester County officials, the town of Mount Kisco, exotic car enthusiasts and countless number of families. Those kids watching may someday be the future of our hobby. I'm glad we could provide them with an exciting show. Hat's off to all of you.

And special thanks to the sponsors: Brooklyn Hobbies, Mugen Seiki USA and THS Racing.

I'm looking into the possibilities of making this venue available to us in the future. Only time will tell.

I will be back...

Congratulations to all the Region 1 racers who participated!!! What a strong turn-out. Hats off to Richie S., he ran a excellent race and has proven once again he is the man to chase in Region 1 for 1/8th scale.

Not sure who was the winner in 1/10th but I believe it was Jamie C. I can not believe the qualifying times the sedans were running.

Again...an outstanding job by NERCAR and thanks to the Jim L., the region 1 director for coming out to support the event.

If anyone is interested in any 1/8th items or KO Radios...please let me know. Send me a PM.

See everyone in a year
good luck in off road carl it was great talking to you and the race went nice good to see all the guys having fun

Hats off to Nercar! That shifter kart was a hell of a display of driving!

Guys I'm looking at the results from the mains and 5 guys from the C main were disqualified for not making weight. Guys you have to ask questions at these races there are so many guys out there that can provide you with help at these races. The sponsored guys like myself and others that wear the T shirts with the logo's on them are there to help the less experienced guys out how ever we can. You have to ask questions though so some of us can help you guys out.

Looking forward to seeing you guys in 2 weeks at the 1/8th Nationals @ 301 in Maryland.

Wow that must have been a hell of a 1/8 A main with Richie and Jari finishing on the same lap.

And I have to say congratulations to our four time Nitro Touring Car Regional Champion, Jaime Corrado!!! I guess you earned that fancy pop up.

Thanks for the props guys. Thanks Ralph Larry Gail and Steve for all of the hard work as usual.

Jari smoked almost everyone with the 359 practice motor blowing loads of smoke.

See you all at the Nat's.

Thumbs up

Thanks NERCAR for hosting this two-day race.

Also like to thank Larry and Phil for taking care my car during final. Guys did hell a lot good job to fueling, changing tires and get my car fired up after flameout. We tried to get W to CT so bad but one unwanted flameout cost a little bit too much time. Good job Richie to finish first and taking W. Hopefully there was at least a little bit pressure by end of the race…

Jamie, good job again to cleaning 1/10th.

Till next time…

Congrats to Richie and Jamie for their wins, you guys were consistent all weekend and it showed. Congats to Nercar for putting on a hell of an event. It would be great if more events can be run here because the ride there and back saves most of us hours of driving, not only because of its proximity to the city and Long Island but more importantly the traffic is much less congested going home from here.

Thank you for the kind words Jim. It took a bit more than 4 Regionals to earn that bad boy.

Thank you.

I would like to thank all of my sponsors for providing me with the best equiptment available. My RB engine, Byron Fuel powered Kyosho RRR combo was almost flawless the entire event.

Thanks to my pitman Mikey "Oh' so close" Pabon for the excellent pitsmanship as usual.

Congratulations to Richie Siriano(Brooklyn Hobbies) for taking this years 1/8th Regional title. It has been a long time coming, and well deserved. Great job!

Thanks to the entire Nercar club for allowing us to have some fun in what has been a non-race filled Region 1 this season. Also, thanks to Brooklyn Hobbies, Mugen Seiki, and THS Racing for the cool prizes.
