Interesting... TM has two former electric World Camps running the G4 with Marc Rheinard and Barry Baker... and everyone knows what Dario can do with the car... I have to throw my support first to Mike Swauger and Mugen USA, Good luck... 2nd would be to TM and the G4... Always supported the car and it's come along way in 5 years since Team Trinity and Josh Cyrul ran the car way back when... WOW...

www.RedRC.net better do a great job
I was flipping through the pages the week of ESPN the MAG in my office stall... I mean cube and what do I find in the W2W4 (what to watch for) column of the Mag but a blurb about RedRC.net covering the 200MM worlds in Lisbon
that is great for the sport so here's a big fingers cross to RedRC to carry this one off and maybe show up some of the main stream media outlets to show them that RC racing is a sport not just a hobby.

Hey Everyone!! Well, after a meeting up with Mr. Baker in Detroit we flew to Amsterdam and then here to Lisbon. After a quickie stop at the track to check things out we headed over to the hotel to check in and unpack. Unfortunetly, neither of us brought a camera but I'll try to post a little info each day.

The track is pretty big and definatly will be a test of car and motor. The curbing is pretty nice with at least 4" of painted area on the asphalt before the curbing starts. There were a lot of people at the track (only a few racers) working on preparing for the event. I'm sure in the next day or two everything will look a lot different as all the banners are hung and more of the details are finished up but I think it's going to be a great event and a very close/tough race.

Till tommorow!!

Josh, thanks much for the update. We are very interested in all of the US drivers back here at home. I know it will be a hectic week but we would really appreciate an update now and then if you can. Go get em.

Andy - Yep, cost me an extra $100 for over weight fee (yes, that's just the bags!).

So far we've had a blast... Two Americans driving around (semi-lost) looking for the ever important Golden Arches!!...lol... Let's just say we covered a lot of ground on the surrounding freeways laughing about how the heck we were going to get back to the stupid exit for the McD's. Finally, after about 30 minutes we came up on a round about - Right in front of our hotel!! Back at zero, we corrected the wrong directions and had dinner. Then to do a little exploring on the way back to find that there was another McD's and Pizza Hut and other stuff in a mall that was just over this hill from our hotel!! Classic.... So far it's been a good time and we are both ready to go for tommorow. Barry is building up spare diff's and of course I'm surfing around on here!

More tommorrow!!
