thanks.
there is a sound rule (6-13)- 85db at 33' distance.

I was mistaken about what I was thinking. I thought there was a rule about the size of the exhaust outlet pipe, but I can't find it. The outlet pipe on that thing is HUGE.

There is a rule, however, that the outlet pipe must be "a round, constant diameter tube, with the end cut at 90 degrees to its centerline" (6-14). I don't think that they would interpret this to allow that pipe. The "outlet" pipe goes from the front of the main chamber and then is welded, making it not constant size.

I only wonder one thing - does it work?

After that - who cares! I don't really run many sanctioned races, and if I did, I would just put on a pipe that fit the rules. . .

"My impressions of the event are that in the 200mm class, Michael Salven and Barry Baker are just about tied in a dead heat. Michael has a tremendous amount of experience at gas racing, but either all these electric guys are also quite talented (and quickly learning) gas racing, or they’ve somehow found a way to run with the best of the best in on-road fuel racing."

heh...even serpent has to admit that the NTC3 is one sweet machine for speed...

It is indeed a fast car... Basically because the car is very much lighter compared to the snake.

Fast, yes... For longevity, questionable...

I actually put it in my big hauler bag and when I picked it up with the shoulder strap I heard a crack and figured it was my car body...... got home and grabbed the radio by the wheel to pull it out of the bag and out came just the wheel . Opps....and unfortunatly the wife was there to see that and knew that I was going to have to get a new radio .

We will see in the final... I think that the AE Team went back and made some changes so that they will not have the same thing happen to them as they did at the nationals.

That 705 is looking good though..... it is going to be tough next season choosing

Hey guys I spoke with James Hook at ACE Racing about that funny looking pipe on ebay, its a replacement pipe for side exhaust engines of course. He is going to send me a pipe design to try and work with, for a replacement pipe for the rear exhaust engines, he's also going to help me with a modified pipe for rear exhaust to go down the center and exit out the rear of the car like I use now. But of course it will be outlaw class pipes only, I'll keep you guys informed! BB

I don't see any changes from the stock out of the box NTC3 that they have used going by NTC3NUT's pics... Perhaps only the rear toe links and the mods on the exhaust pipe and maybe longer screws here and there...

I'm afraid the car is still fragile...

I'm having some reservations with the 705 as well. Although I don't use front gear diffs on my existing setup (running one ways), I find that the 705 not being compatible with front gear diffs is a little alarming... Second reservation, price

Can anyone tell me where to go to post all my Worlds pictures at once? I have about 100. Getting them to fit these website threads is a MAJOR pain, not to mention posting them one at a time. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance
