NTC3NUT,
THANK YOU FOR THE ADVICE. I WILL TRY IT.

Yokomo: Check the front gear on the 2 speed and see if its loose. I have seen the bolts back out and rub the rear housing and make a clicking sound.
Nitrosaurus: Calandra Racing Concepts, (CRC) Makes shocks called clickers, sorta like serpent shocks use 1 weight oil and just click for different dampening. I like them very well no more need to carry a box of different weight oil anymore.

And yes, the stock plastic roll bar sucks because for people with bid hands, you'll definitely get the tip of your fingers on the engine heatsink. Need I say OOOUUUCH?

So if i decide to get the NTC3 over the MTX-3 what extra parts am I gonna need to avoid the typical problems all NTC3 owners inevitably face?

I was also thinking of pre-empting any tank problems by just getting the K factory one. I was also thinking the RD logics pipe plus an O.S. 12tr engine. The one thing that bugs me is that the MTX-3 comes with a centax where as the NTC-3 does not. My friend is offering me his used NTC3 for 150 bux, but I took a look at it today and its in bad shape. So if I'm gonna get an NTC3, its gonna have to be a brand new kit. Anyhow, im still trying to decide which one to go for.

Oh btw, if I want to run foams do I need to get a front one way or can I just slap foams on the car box stock dual diffs?

the tc3 also comes with ball diffs..the mugen does not..in fact, you have to buy the parts for a front diff seperately(except teh diff case)..the rear diff is a gear diff....not fun to change silicone on...

if your not sure about what to do..go read the last few pages of the mugen thread...

for teh tc3,just get the fix shock tower screws....all the kits now come with the upgraded gears and tank...(and better screws,I might add).....

btw....I just put the new white gears in my front diff...they are smoother than teh gray ones(if thats possible)...

also,since I have old kits,I was curious..

is associated still using the wing front bumper on those rubber grommets on the newer cars?...

no one complains about teh bumper anymore..I was wondering if they changed it...

i'm also putting on the K factory front cup..a very nice fit...and the the gold color blends nice also...

I would suggest the shock tower fix which is posted earlier in this thread. The RD Logics pipe, Associated Factory Team Titanium Pivot Balls. That is about it I haven't added anything else to the car and haven't had any problems. If you need part numbers let me know.

Can you use the AE spring set for the shocks made from other companies?

Do I need to lube the ball diffs(Tc3) after sometime? How long ? My rear diff felt gritty after a run even though they were new. Do you guys have the same problem ?

Fastharry what are the new white diff gears like? I need to replace the grey ones in my car and wonder if they a superior over the grey. Also you say you are running the K Factory front input cup, I've been running the front and rear cups for awhile now and they are fantastic. You should also try their centax clutch is also a worthy hop up for your car.

Good luck in the racing future.
