He will be posting some pics of them up soon. We were wondering if we should make them as light as possible or if we should try just leaving the full weight but I think trying to make them as light as the standard shoes is the way to go.

Nut I will ask him and I'll try to get on him about some wheels for the M8 too.... that would kick a$$. I like the new hats and I think he's got stickers coming soon as well. I'll let you all know what I think of the shoes as soon as I get my first pair. I think they'll work good though.

They haven't been tested yet? Why don't you try both and compare performance.

Nope still in the R&D phase. Actually that is what we are thinking of doing, trying some both ways. I'll let you know as soon as I have them what I think.

Swen - Very interesting idea. My suggestion would be to make them the same weight as the stock shoe...or just a hair lighter. That way, people can change engagement points with the copper springs. That's what they were designed to do.

That was my thinking. Make them the same weight then people can take some of like they do on the stock shoes to make them engage quicker. Just curious as to how much interest there would be for some aluminum clutch shoes.

fastharry it was not the new white one, I don't think they are availible here in Australia yet. Don't fear I am not selling the NTC3 just putting it on hiatus for a while. I still think they are a good car, I just need something a little more consistent in holding the setup settings for the time being.

Aluminum clutch shoes sound good... but what i think they need to do is design them in the same way as the mip clutch then make then a bit lighter then all we have to do is buy a different tension spring... it also give a stronger hold... if you do you only need to have them make a two shoe though i would like a three shoe in that style... The only issue with metal shoes is they wear the bell faster so some one would have to make a stronger one...

Fastharry your'e so right about the mugen drivers it's not funny. At our club I think there's only about 4 people in the tourer class that don't run mugen and we are shunned. All I can say is sheep stay in flocks but beware of the wolfves they are knocking at the door.

Good luck Fastharry.
