I like it!!!! But man that's a lot of pipe! LOL!

It may need that much of a pipe in order for a Nova Rossi rear exhaust engine to work with it. If it has too much back pressure, the Nova's won't work right. They will run way too lean and hot.
ndelaware - Don't forget about how much trouble I went through to get a Nove Rossi rear exhaust engine to work in the TC3 conversion.

It looks pretty cool in person. I would say this is the new nitro contendor. It should be pretty nice... Looks to me like AE made a new winner, I guess we will have to wait and see.

i would think that if this car works you will see some of this technology going to the tc3.....i would not say this the new contender....trinity has a good looking car also....and with deiter designing it ...look out...

Yeah, i got a look at the Reflex too, I personally think they will be out to blow the mugen/serpant out of the track.
I didn't get as good of a look at the Reflex as i did the TC3, Jim was cutting bodies for it when i came around, so i only took my pictures, look at it and left.. I didn't really take as good of a look as i did with the NTC3.

Tower has it listed @ 379.99 for the non pull rear exhaust version. Needless to say it is shown as "On Order" but at least we got a price.

And, with Losi or AE, you gonna have a killer car no matter what. Either car is capable of winning National and World Titles...

Looking at the car I see the downfall; the tuned pipe. First it is hokey, second it doesnt allow for pipe changes (for different tracks different pipes are better). I think there is a fix. You can use 2 headers. It wont be as durable, but there might be some kind of way to rig it so the second header is fastened to the chassis via wire and collet. It seems better then using that pipe.

I'm not entirely sure why they used that design except that they had EVERY pipe made at their disposal to try to see what built power; what design, what shape, configuration, etc. This pipe was designed with a 'motorcross' concept. If you've ever seen a motorcross racing pipe, this is the design that builds power. Out of all the pipe they tested, this one had the best overall combination of power, torque, efficiency, etc.
I agree that different pipes perform different functions, and I think AE has addressed that by allowing for a different header design, also. I'm not 100% sure of how it will work, but I've heard that you will be able to attach other pipes.
