For my opinion both the Kawahara and K-Factory made my car more pushfull (what i like) and the wear is less than a 3 shoe standard clutch . I have them both and like them very much. The K-Factory clutch is a little lighter than the Kawahara.

I think he means that the car is snapier(sp?), it launches when you gas it.

the centax clutch is only for off the line response wich it doesnt give you any more power on top end. And it is a little bit consistent for perfect bottom end response(tuning), so that the load on the motor isnt instant, therefore the motor revs harder to engauage. This will only work if you got the clutch set right with harder spring and light weight shoes. This can be obtained with the stock ntc3 clutch by altering shoe length or harder spring.

Do they make steel CVDs for the NTC3? I keep breaking my front ones off at the pin, it just shears the aluminum.

Thanks,

The Shiny CVD Bones(bones only) for the ETC3 are the same length and fit perfectly.

Many NTC3 racers here have switched to the Shiny bones because many noticed wear at the pin holes and twisting only after a couple of races after they got their car.

Hey guys,
I am brand spanking new to r/c and i ordered a NTC 3 RTR and i am wondering what should i get as either extra parts or hop ups, stuff like that???

This is what i have.
(on the way)
NTC 3 RTR
Transmitter case
3 OS #A3 glow plugs
Glow wrench
DuraTrax Standard Screwdriver Set w/Pouch
After run engine oil
Glow starter

(i have already)
500cc fuel bottle
250cc fuel bottle
Nitro fuel

So i should be set when my car and stuff gets here to start bashing.

I just bought a fuel filter today, and i bought a BMW 328 Ci body.

Is there anything that you would recommend getting?? Anything you think of let me know. i would be greatful.

Thanks for your help,
David

Default engine tuning issue with the ntc3 pipe.

does anybody have engine tuning issue on a NTC3 pipe.
engine: nova 5 port
pipe: AE Duel chamber
fuel tank: stock upgrade

issue:
1) engine cut
2) symptom of richness ( lots of smoke but engine over heating)
3) cannot idle for long
4) takes a long time to be on the pipe
5) responds is bad.

issue solved using mtx3 with a nova 1 piece pipe.
1) engine running perfectly
2) ideling for 30sec is nor
3) better responds
4) engine does not cut
5) engine temp is very good.

so it must be the pipe.

is there any solution?

please assist
