i'm also planning on getting a new lola/gtp body as my yokomo gtp is busted up..

which manufacturer makes the most durable/toughest lola/gtp bodies? the yokomos are really flimsy... what about the frewers or parmas?

thanks

Default Frewer shells

Well if it's of any interest, this Frewer Porsche 911 GT1 shell did wonders for me. When I first got my NTC3, this was my first shell. Great downforce I'd say and quite strong plastic. Too bad they won't allow Lola type shells over here anymore.

is frewer and racer's edge the same company? or are their products from the same manufacturer?

and is it true that the RD logic parts are only painted and not anodized?

torchedlh- I don't think Racer Edge and Frewer are the same company. Which RD Logics parts are you talking about?

I got 2 sets, the other set is unpainted and I have begun polishing them. They take a polish very well, looks like chrome in no time! After I polished the upper cases I had second thoughts about using the painted ones. Still a great buy.
does this mean that all of the coloured diff cases are painted ?????

The RD Logics guys can correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the tansmission cases, shock towers, and chassis braces are available in red or blue painted, and a natural cast finish. I am sure that their chassis are anodized, but the bits & pieces are painted. Trust me when I say that it looks good, my LHS thought it was powder coated, very shiny and neat with a nice finish.

I'll be receiving the new RD logics dual chambered
pipe from rd logics next week. i'll you guys know
how it is and if there are any differences between
the ae and rd as far as characteristics.

also my buddy has been running the ntc3 for 2 months now
with the aluminum diff case and has not damaged a gear
yet. we have run the car with a modified motor with three
shoe clutch. 3 30 min mains. one in crystal park were it
was very bumpy so the car kept unloading and landing
back on power checked the diff gears and it is fine.
only damage to the car is the cvd pin holes enlarged and
needed to be replaced.

hey brett i hope you like the items anyway if
you have problems with it just pm me i check it
every 2-3 days.

another tip for tc3 owners i suggest putting
heat shrink on the cvds where to pin goes through
you would have to dremel some of the plastic inside
the hub for clearance issues but it is much more
reliable with the heat shrink.
