The diffs aren't the same in the electric TC3 as the new NTC3. I raced a TC3 Gas conversion for a long time on the electric diffs and had no problems. I used Piccos and RB power plants

Well i just got my kit, so the big build will be on this weekend! I'm really going to enjoy this car, can't wait to kick some butt!

All my other GPs come with gear diff, this is my first time to use ball diff on GP.

That little foam thingy might be the only diff but it sure rolls much smoother than any electric or conversion TC3 i've ever seen.

I have driven Mugen, Serpent impulse, HPI Super, Trinity Reflex. and a pretty old Yok. I own a TC3 190mm gas conversion, NTC3, Gas Ae Dual sport 2wd drive, converted to touring car tires and wheels, RC10 GT, Traxxas Rustler, and a gas boat. I just play around with the cars, my 14year old son does the driving on race day. I build,setup and fund the cars! I have about 10 years of real late model stock car experience, so setting the cars up is really not that difficult to me. I really like the Serpents and the mugens the best, but they are kinda expensive here and parts are mostly mail order. I was impressed when we built the conversion about shaftdriven cars . Our conversion raced right with the mugens and the serpents here on shorter tracks but we get eat up by them on the long tracks, do to lack of 2 speed. I just decided to stay with shaft driven cars do to maintance and up keep. I hope the NTC3 will race with the Mugens and Serpents here, testing looks to be very good so far.

Does anyone else find it odd that Associated chose to use aluminum CVD's on a nitro car? Seems to me that those things are going to be bent in a hurry considering the rate at which these cars can travel into walls Trying to decide between the Mugen Pro Spec and the Associated for the upcoming nitro season at our local track and boy it is not an easy decision
