Thanks to kel,Richard & everyone who showed up for the last club race @ SV my son Eyan had the time of his life he said.Except when his IGT broke down on the last race of the night cause he really wanted to try and keep up with Travis or beat him "I doubt that" but I guess you got to give him an A for EFFORT and he said that everyone was so cool with him too. I Hope there is still a chance to save the track pls.try to keep us up to date on whats going on. If there is a new place let me know too I'm willing to help out in any way I can thanks.

P.S. Dan you should of been there with your IGT it was really a fun night of racing Travis was burning up the track with his IGT Calsonic !!! ill try to post video of the race as soon as possible.

I wish I could have been there with you guys! I was melting out in the 105 deg Vegas heat.

Thanks for the call.

Looking at the results, Eyan did good! I wish I could have given him and the others a run for it. Hopefully soon, some place.

PM or call me when and where you plan to drive next.

BTW, what tires did you all run, foams or rubber?

Everyone used rubber and we where hooked up pretty good till the last race when my cuz Jerwin decided that he would try the foams and that's when he almost took out one of the turn marshals nuts out cause his car was all over the place

I sure seems like rubber tires are the way to go for these GT cars. I don't think I'll even bother buying a set of foams for my IGT.

It sounds like the turn marshals need to suit up like a Hockey goalie .

I JUST got back into playing with my R/C car (road) and picked up a new one the other day. Then I find out the only track I ever wanted to drive on is now closed.

I went to this track a few years ago but didn't drive my car on it because I could never get it running quite right.

It's a shame I'll never get to drive on it.

You had the nicest track I've every seen.

If anyone was to open a new track and needed some time donated to construction and setup, please let me know. I'd also be interested in joining a club/membership at the track as well.

Santa Clarita has a recreation center with a skate park and swimming pools etc... I wonder if they would be interested in an R/C road track and possibly a dirt track as well on the side of the hill. I've never seen a road track for r/c cars with elevation changes...
