Default Tires again?

Does anyone mount their own foams anymore? I am returning after a 15yr layoff from nitro on-road racing and am finding it strange that I am having a hard time sourcing donuts.

yah same here been out for about 8 yrs, and I was thinking the same thing, I think the difference now is theres multiple companies and its cheap enough to just buy the whole cow instead of just the milk.

Also the wheels tend to either get sloppy or bent so just buy a whole new set.

I still use V2 (Speed / Picco) for racing. Yes, it has some problems but I see it is still competitive. I have a huge spare stock and still can find tires.
I believe you can still use your picco at least for a season or so.

Let me know if you need any spares or tyres in US, I can redirect you some sources in Europe.
