Default Pinion Removal From centax bell?

Need some advise,

I can hold the pinion gear ok, but i keep bending or snaping allen keys or hi-tenile steel rod that i insert into the clutch bell holes to try and hold it while i try to unscrew the pinion?

any ideas?

I have tried heating it and soaking it in nitro fuel, and still no luck???

Mugen sells a nice pinion tool. Works very well and is not expensive.

Spend a few extra bucks and buy the serpent tool and it will be the last one you will ever need to buy.

Try cutting the tip off of a pair of needle nose pliers. This will allow the plier to go into the clutch bell further therefor a wider part of the plier will grip the allen wrench. Works great on my mugen.

All you have to do is get them nice and snug the rotational forces will tighten them up and keep them tight.

get a mugen tool. It comes with everything. The hub tool for the bell and the gear wrench. Everything else ive seen needs one or the other. The mugen makes it almost effortless.
