Nitro Onroad servos???
I am going to replace my Hitec servos for Airtronics or Futaba's and wondered what kind of luck they have had with them and if they have been reliable?

I have some Futaba S9402 servos, and they work great. I haven't had one problem. I also use some JR 4750 servos, and they are just as good. Both are extremely fast, and definitely as strong as they need to be.
As long as you utilize servo grommets, servo savers and properly set the EPA, these should last you a very long time. I used to use Hitec servos, but I've had enough problems to ditch them on my car. Some people love Hitec, while some hate them. I just don't like the fact that I've seen so many with parts of the fet board come un-soldered, and therefore unable to work. I just gave up. EDIT: I just cut off the last part of my post. The rest is untouched. |
Wow that came off really bitter sounding... I think I'll have to edit that....
