Hey I was out running my car this weekend and I was doing some laps at the track. The car went out of control due to a heavy throtle finger, smacked up the left side of the car. I bent the front and rear cva's, bent up the stinger, and broke a lower control arm.....SWEEEETTTTT ... But thats not the real problem, After the crash broke out the hammer and crazy glue fixed it right back together for the time.....But my main issue is I can't get the car to shift any more. I think it's stuck in second gear any feed back on how to get it out of this gear will help...

Pull the transmission down and check to see if anything is broken, Check the clutch shoes in the tranny, the one way bearing and the adjustment screws. See if anything is bent in there and get it replaced.

How fast were you going and did you yun into a wall?

Almost top speed when I hit the wall, I didn't run head on into the wall most of the impact was on the left side of vehicle. Also the gears 1st and 2nd have seemed to have a little play in them as far as spacing goes. ig they use to sit close now their about an 1/8th of spacing between them.
Hey I got a question will this mill drop right in with out any mod. I think it should but just want a second oppinion on this matter. https://www.ssl-stormerhobbies.com/c...pn=FAN01017er. Thanks for the input spenzalii............

Default Comparing the LD3 to others????

How many of you have raced something else? Such as the Mugen or Associated NTC3? How does the LD3 compare? What do you like and don't you like about it?

Where is the best place to buy one? (Mail Order)

Thanks!!!

Depends on where you are in the world and how patient you are. RC Mushroom and RC Model (another place that's quite good) both ship from overseas. While the products may cost more at Nitrohouse, that cost may be lessened once shipping is figured in. Plus, in the contanintal US, it will get there much quicker than waiting for international air mail.

Default steering servo mounts

Has anybody that is using the aluminum steering servo mounts had to grind them down in order to fit the servo correctly? My KO servo is not even close so looks like the mounts will need some trimming

Grind where? I have them on my Futaba servo. It went on with no problems. I had to chose between mounting the servo on the radio plate or the chasis, since there was a 1.5mm (give or take) space between the chasis and the mount when mounted on the tray and I didn't have any shims

Grind the ends that the servo screws into. My KO servo comes to far forward and gets in the way of the steering. Are you using a low profile futuba servo?

I figured out the problem. I had built the steering wrong. I am going through all the normal first build problems it appears

Default LD3 Versus GP4

Has anyone seen additional information on the GP4? What are the major differences?
