I have the Pro manual, but it doesnt have the instructions for the centax in it. There should be an addendum though, which is all I need...if you have my email address still, you can add that to your IM and send it to me through there if necessary.I have cable net so it should go quick

Hi all. I have a few questions about the LD3 pro.
Are there any problem areas on the car, like steering slop, bad bearings etc. Is the clutchbell the type with screw on pinion gears? Does it come with swaybars? Lastly, how is the performance and driveability compared to an NTC3. I know how people are gonna say the most important thing about a car is the driver or a set-up. But, we all know that all cars aren't created equal. Thanks in advance for any replies.

Another ?....Will a standard crank work with the LD3 pro or will it have to be cut, like with the NTC3?

a few questions?!? OK, let's see what we can do...
1. Problem Areas: not many. There were a few issues with the 1 way in the tranny in some early versions, but it seems to have worked itself out. It really depends on if you get the kit or the RTR. There isn't much slop in the steering, but the aluminum rack tightens things up a bit. If for get the RTR, upgrade to the 'pro' arms and all is well.

2. Clutch bell is screw on pinions

3. On the RTR, no swaybars come with it. On the Pro, they do

4. Performance is well compared to most cars out there. The TC3 has 2 main problems everyone seems to have: the shock tower/diff case failure and the rear toe adjustment. No problem with that at all with the LD3. Some TC3s also had diff durability problems. The LD3 uses gear diffs, they seem almost bulletproof once shimmed right. Once setup properly, it will compete very well...

Hope that helps

Thanks a lot spenzalii. I appreciate the answers. Do you know if I'll be able to use my O.S. TR with the standard crank, or will I have to cut it?

I had to cut mine, I use a STS 12 RS version on my car... short (threaded) shaft is what I think they like to call it. I just cut mine to fit the clutch bell nut onto it.
