I did try 30,000wt also...found the car understeered like a pig on power coming out of a corner. If your track is wide enough and you have enough grip you may get away with it...try it first.
I will give it a try thanks From what your saying, and if I am understanding you correctly, I don't need to really worry about putting too much oil in

Providing there is a little air gap inside you will be OK. If there is too much..the oil gets all over the seal and sometimes they leak....thats all...

Default champ verses pro

can anyone tell the difference between the champ edition and the pro edititon and is it really worth the extra money for a club electric racer thats new to nitro touring

First off, if you read (I know there's a lot ) the entire thread, you will find this discussed elsewhere, Im just not sure where....but for a basic recap....
Champ -Taiwan version
Gold Anodizing on most if not all aluminum
7075 grade aluminum
Centax clutch
Floating rear body mount system
3 mm thick chassis

Pro-U.S version
hard coated? "grey" anodizing
6061 grade aluminum
2.7 mm thick chassis....might be 3 mm...sorry, Im not sure.

I'm sure I am forgetting some other things...as for being worth it to a newbie...probably not. I would bet there will be some performance advantage(Im thinking mainly due to the higher grade aluminum), but ultimately, the U.S version will suit you fine. Although, I am also relatively new to racing...I got the Champ -Taiwan version simply 'cause I wanted it and had the extra "green"

Does the U.S. pro have the front and rear blade swaybars as advertised in ofna magazine ad (They aren't listed in the nitrohouse.com ad)? Also, does the U.S. version have aluminum wheel hexes?
